Itinerary
Day 1: ARRIVAL KATHMANDU
Arrival at Tribhuvan International airport in Kathmandu, Nepal
Meeting and assistance at the airport
You will be welcomed with Khada (Tibetan silk scarf) or flower garland outside the arrival terminal gate by our representative.
You will be transferred to your hotel.
Overnight at your hotel in Kathmandu.
Day 2: KATHMANDU
Morning, half-day tour of old Kathmandu city, its Durbar square, myriad of temples including the temple residence of the Living Goddess, Kumari. Proceed on to Swoyambhunath Stupa. Swoyambhunath is a Buddhist Stupa said to be more than 2000 years old, is perched on a hillock 77 meters above the valley floor and offering a bird’s eye view of the Kathmandu City.
Afternoon, a tour of Patan, also known as Lalitpur or the "city of beauty" is the oldest city in the valley. A great center both of the Newari Buddhist religion and of traditional arts & crafts with 136 bahals or courtyards and 55 major temples.

Day 3: KATHMANDU – NAGARKOTE
After breakfast, visit Bhaktapur, the "City of Devotees" and the home of medieval art and architecture, a classic showcase of medieval Nepalese town life. Walk through the brick-paved Palace Square overlooked by the Palace of the 55 windows with its imposing Golden Gate, The Pashupatinath Temple built as a replica of the original in Kathmandu overlooked by the finely carved Chyasalin Mandap in the centre. Walk to the Nyatapole Temple the five-storied Pagoda, the tallest temple in the country guarded by a series of mythical animals and deities overlooking the Bhairav temple dedicated to the Tantric deity of Bhairav.
Proceed on to Nagarkote hill (35kms/1.5hrs from Kathmandu).
Situated 2175m above sea level, Nagarkot is a popular tour and hill destination of Nepal. It is a famous mountain and sunrise views. Five of the world's 10 tallest Mountains: Everest (8848m), Lhotse (8516m), Cho Oyu (8201m), Makalu (8463m) and Manaslu (8163m) along with many other lesser summits can be viewed from this place (during clear weather). The place is surrounded by the terraced hillside and most beautiful scenery. It is possible to make walking tours to nearby villages (optional).

Evening, a possibility of the sunset view from the hotel premises (weather permitting)

Day 4: NAGARKOTE - KATHMANDU – RAFTING - CHITWAN
After early breakfast, drive to Kuringtar (raft put in point). Commence the Rafting trip on Trishuli River.
End the raft. Lunch at a local restaurant
Later, continue on to Chitwan
Transfer to your hotel/jungle lodge.
Later, commence on an Elephant back safari to view the games that inhabit this park. This National park having 932 sq. kms is said to be one of the best in South Asia and famous for its population of the one-horned Asian rhinoceros, several species of deer, monkeys, sloth bear, wild boar, spotted leopard, the Bengal tiger as well as other lesser mammals, birds and reptiles.

Day 5: CHITWAN
Full day of jungle activities such as nature walks, canoe ride, and jungle walks, tribal village visit etc;
In the evening a slide presentation on Nepalese wildlife or a Tharu tribal dance programmes.

Day 6: CHITWAN – LUMBINI
Morning, drive to Lumbini, the birthplace of Lord Buddha (192 kms / 5-6 hrs).
Later, visit the scared Lumbini garden, Mayadevi temple, pushkarni pond, Ramagram etc

Day 7: LUMBINI - POKHARA
Morning, drive to Pokhara valley (199 kms / 6-7 hrs), famed for its emerald lakes and awesome snow peaks looming overhead.
Transfer to your hotel.
Rest of the day is free.

Day 8: POKHARA
Early morning, a tour of Sarangkote hill for sunrise view / Mountain View
At an elevation of 1590m, Sarangkote is perched on a high ridge to the northwest of Pokhara and has panoramic mountain views from Dhaulagiri and across the Annapurnas to Manaslu, as well as south over the Pokhara Valley.
From Pokhara, short drive to Kalimati (approx. 20 mins) and climb the Raniban forest crossing the suspension bridge. It is a gentle walk of approx. 1.5 hours to the World Peace Stupa (1400m), a massive Buddhist stupa is situated on the top of a hill on the southern shore of Phewa Lake. Besides being an impressive sight in itself, the shrine is a great vantage point which offers the spectacular views of the Annapurna range, Phewa Lake, and the Pokhara city.
Enjoy the spiritual and scenic beauty of this viewpoint.
Later walk down from stupa is more enjoyable with the view of Phewa Lake and the mountains.
Cross Phewa Lake (approx. 30 mins) by boat with a visit to the island temple (Barahi temple) in the middle of the lake. Transfer to your hotel.
Overnight at your hotel in Pokhara.
Day 9: POKHARA - KATHMANDU
After breakfast, commence your return journey back to Kathmandu.

Rest of the day is at leisure.

Day 10: KATHMANDU – DEPARTURE
Free till departure.
Transfer to the airport to connect the international flight.
