Itinerary
Day 1: ARRIVAL KATHMANDU
Arrival at Tribhuvan International airport in Kathmandu, Nepal
Meeting and assistance at the airport
You will be welcomed with Khada (Tibetan silk scarf) or flower garland outside the arrival terminal gate by our representative.
You will be transferred to your hotel.

Day 2: KATHMANDU
Early morning, possibility of optional Everest experience flight, popular one hour flight is a sparkling clear journey across the world’s highest peaks, Mt. Everest - world’s highest peak (8,848m) and other ranges of Himalayas.
Morning, half-day tour of old Kathmandu city, its Durbar square, myriad of temples including the temple residence of the Living Goddess, Kumari. Proceed on to Swoyambhunath Stupa. Swoyambhunath is a Buddhist Stupa said to be more than 2000 years old, is perched on a hillock 77 meters above the valley floor and offering a bird’s eye view of the Kathmandu City.
Afternoon, a tour of Patan, also known as Lalitpur or the "city of beauty" is the oldest city in the valley. A great center both of the Newari Buddhist religion and of traditional arts & crafts with 136 bahals or courtyards and 55 major temples.

Day 3: KATHMANDU
Morning, visit Bhaktapur, the "City of Devotees" and the home of medieval art and architecture, a classic showcase of medieval Nepalese town life. Walk through the brick-paved Palace Square overlooked by the Palace of the 55 windows with its imposing Golden Gate, The Pashupatinath Temple built as a replica of the original in Kathmandu overlooked by the finely carved Chyasalin Mandap in the centre. Walk to the Nyatapole Temple the five-storied Pagoda, the tallest temple in the country guarded by a series of mythical animals and deities overlooking the Bhairav temple dedicated to the Tantric deity of Bhairav.
Afternoon, visit Changunarayan temple, one of the oldest temples in Nepal dedicated to Lord Vishnu. The temple now covers at least seventeen hundred years of Nepalese art history.

Day 4: KATHMANDU - CHITWAN
After an early breakfast, drive to the Chitwan National Park (187km/5 hrs).
Transfer to your hotel/jungle lodge.
After lunch, commence on an elephant-back safari to view the games that inhabit this park. This National park having 932 sq. kms is said to be one of the best in South Asia and famous for its population of the one-horned Asian rhinoceros, several species of deer, monkeys, sloth bear, wild boar, spotted leopard, the Bengal tiger as well as other lesser mammals, birds and reptiles.

Day 5: CHITWAN
Full day of jungle activities such as nature walks, canoe ride, jungle walks, tribal village visit etc;
In the evening a slide presentation on Nepalese wildlife or a Tharu tribal dance programmes.

Day 6: CHITWAN - LUMBINI
Morning, drive to Lumbini, birthplace of Lord Buddha (192 kms / 5-6 hrs).
Later, visit the scared Lumbini garden, Mayadevi temple, pushkarni pond, Ramagram etc

Day 7: LUMBINI - KATHMANDU
Morning, transfer to Bhairahawa airport and fly back to Kathmandu
Upon arrival in Kathmandu, transfer to your hotel.

Day 8: KATHMANDU
Morning, half-day tour of Pashupatinath temple, the temple of Lord Shiva situated on the banks of the sacred Bagmati River. Pashupatinath, with a tiered golden roof and silver doors, is famous for its superb architecture. Continue onwards to Boudhanath Stupa, the colossal Stupa in Nepal set on concentric ascending terraces in the powerful pattern of a Mandala.
Rest of the day is free.

Day 9: KATHMANDU – DEPARTURE
Free till departure.
Transfer to the airport to connect the international flight.
