Overview
This is a comprehensive study tour in Nepal covering all the highlights of Nepal. Cultural tours in Nepal open up a plethora of cultural diversities as each part of Nepal, from East to West, or North to South, has its own cultural setting. Tradition, religion, custom, belief, language, social organizationand people are the important aspect of culture in Nepal. Sacred pilgrimage sites, historical monuments and memorials reflect richness of Nepal’s culture variations. The tour commences with an insight of our ancient cultures and ethnic mixes and combines with white-water rafting down to the southern Terai and the pleasures of easy trekking through colorful ethnic villages around Pokhara with thrills of viewing the Himalayan peaks from closer quarters. Itinerary
Arrive at Tribhuvan International Airport, Kathmandu. Transfer to your hotel and rest after your journey. Evening at leisure.
Spend the day exploring the cultural and historical highlights of Kathmandu Valley. Visit key sites such as Pashupatinath Temple, Boudhanath Stupa, and Durbar Square.
Drive to Nagarkot, famous for panoramic Himalayan views. Enjoy sunset views over the mountains. Overnight stay in Nagarkot.
Return to Kathmandu and proceed for an exciting rafting adventure on the Trishuli River. After rafting, drive to Chitwan National Park. Evening leisure or cultural program.
Full day jungle activities including jungle safari, bird watching, canoe ride, and Tharu cultural experience.
Drive to Lumbini, the birthplace of Lord Buddha. Explore the sacred sites and monasteries. Overnight in Lumbini.
Drive via Tansen, a beautiful hill town with traditional Newari architecture. Continue to Pokhara, the gateway to the Annapurna region.
Free day to relax or explore Pokhara. Options include boating on Phewa Lake, visiting Davis Falls, or strolling the lakeside markets.
Drive to Phedi and begin a 3-hour hike to Dhampus village. Enjoy stunning mountain views and local hospitality.
Trek for approximately 6 hours through forests and traditional villages to Landrung. Immerse yourself in the natural beauty and local culture.
Trek for around 2.5 hours to the Gurung village of Ghandrung, famous for its panoramic mountain vistas and traditional lifestyle.
Descend for 4 hours to Nayapool, then drive back to Pokhara. Rest and enjoy the evening in this scenic town.
Drive to Bandipur, a charming hilltop town known for its preserved cultural heritage. After exploring Bandipur, continue back to Kathmandu.
Final day in Kathmandu for shopping or sightseeing. Transfer to the airport for your departure flight.
