Great trip! everything was very well organized and allowed us to explore the country as temples and different locations in Kathmandu, the rural villages. We will not forget Bandipur and the hotel Old Inn, a small wonder that we should let them discover to people who appreciate the lovely people home as a hotel in the village! The beauty of Pokhara, sunrises and sunsets but also the friendliness of the people all the Nepalese and Tibetans. A Big Thank you…!!! Hi.... First and foremost heartfelt thanks for suggesting Nepal. Full marks for all your organisational skills - Take a Bow!! Nepal is a lesson in humility. Beautiful country and even more beautiful are its people.... hardworking, honest and so very cheerful. Travelled a considerable distance - no dirty glances or lewd stares, felt so safe. And this sentiment was also echoed by other Indian tourists and their teenaged daughters that we met at the resorts. The drive from the airport to the hotel is not very impressive but believe me as the days go by the people of Nepal just suck you in. Sunil was very helpful and was in touch with us throughout the trip. Kumar the guide was very patient and good. When travelling with a sr. citizen always listen to the guide's advice as they are familiar with the terrain. Hotel Grand - KTM - in a bylane off a busy road like laxmi road but worked to our advantage as we got our essential supplies right across the hotel. So 5***** for location. Acco - very comfortable. Thanks for the I/C rooms. B/f buffet - good blend of Indian and continental. Dinner - good with live ghazals. Nepali speciality restaurant - lovely, charming place. A good start to one's vacation. Tigerland Resort - 1st time in a forest lodge so can't give a comparative review. Ride till hotel bumpy but the location more than makes up for it. Simply gorgeous - straight out of national geographic. The photos on their website don't do justice to the property. Overall a classy rustic feel. Staff & service was fantastic. Very personalised. Mr. Raju B (owner) & Mr. Resham Gurung (F&B + PR) - keep it up! While on a elephant safari, accompanying sr. citizens can stay back in the hotel without any worries. The staff makes you feel very secure. They also have books and foreign mags in the lobby where tea is comp throughout the day. Plenty of outdoor activities. One needs to stay for a min. of 2 nights. The guide / mgr Mr. Madan gave us a very good guided tour. Acco - eco-friendly but very comfortable. If booking for couples check regd double beds as they had twin beds in both the rooms. Torches are provided in the room. Food - most vegs sourced from their organic farm on the premises. They also ask you regarding food preferences, offer bottle gourd / bitter gourd juice. Food served is med. spicy, less oily but nevertheless tasty. Good variety. All in all very impressed :) Fish Tail Lodge - A sight to behold!! Nestled at the base of a lush lush mountain overlooking the lake with snowcapped fishtail - Annapurna range bang opposite. A slice of heaven! Acco - Beautiful cottages divided into 8 cozy rooms with a country feel to them. Twin beds with an electric console betw them so can't be joined so check with the htl regd double beds for couples as the resort oozes romance (or you will have a complaint on your hands if the occupancy is high and the htl can't change their rooms). Food - Great b/f and dinner spread. Service & staff - prompt & cheerful. Our guide Mr. Hari is 60 years old but has the enthusiasm of a teenager. An avid birdwatcher, he made the pokhara tour very interesting. All the 3 drivers that accompanied us at various locations were so very polite and kept my mum company while she had to wait back in the car at times. Exhausted reading this??? and you still want to send me to Bhutan ?? :) :) Hope you can make to Nepal and also indulge in some adventure activities as the trip seems incomplete without it.

I like the whole Ker & Downey experience. Very professional & efficient, and the trek was superbly organized in every respect. Would rather check–in at hotel reception ourselves than have representative do it, although we understood it was meant as an extra service.

No hair dryer at Jungle villa resort. Our driver Sitaram was excellent throughout the whole tour and your representative Sakin was very efficient and helpful.

Kathmandu, Pokhara, Chitwan all good places to visit. We had the best experience at Himalayan Wildlife Sanctuary Resort in Chitwan. Excellent hotel + staffs + experience!!

The tour was very informative and eye opening. Very knowledgeable guide KC. Hotel was very comfortable. Driver deserves a 10/10 for driving, so patience & considerate. He drove with care for passengers even though roads were rough. He knew where to go & pick us up. Sakin was prompt, informative, pleasant and smart. Everyone did their upmost to make our visit as pleasant and memorable as possible. Thanks!

I like the road trip to the mountains and Pokhara, the atmosphere, the people and the cultural aspects of Kathmandu eg; temples, arts, spirits etc. Good memories from this trip. Nepal is worth to discover. Great experiences!
